How do I block all popups?

Using StopSign Popup Blocker, follow these instructions to block all popup windows in Internet Explorer.

  1. Open the eAcceleration Software Station:
  2. Make sure that the checkbox beside "Enable Popup Blocker" is checked.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Aggressive Mode. When prompted, click OK, then OK again to close the window.
  5. Open Internet Explorer and click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Make sure that the box beside "Enable third-party browser extensions" is checked.
  6. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.
Note: These instructions will block any advertising popup in Internet Explorer. They will not affect any adware programs that already exist on your computer, and may not be compatible with other Internet browsers. Your paid StopSign AntiVirus scanner will remove all forms of popup adware advertising.
