How are updates installed and how do I know it's updated? |
|
Since viruses and trends are constantly changing, StopSign automatically updates all of your installed features and virus definitions. It does this when a scan is initiated, but in order for updates to be installed you have to be connected to the Internet. The scan will continue to run, but with the existing virus definitions. While it's possible to interrupt the automatic update, we strongly discourage you from doing so. To confirm that the updates and enhancements have been installed: from the "Help" menu in the Threat Scanner, click on "About." It will show the date and time it was last updated.
